Most airlines cap standard checked bags at 23 kg. This bag weighs 3.9 kg empty, which leaves about 19.1 kg of packing before standard overweight fees. The zippered expansion adds extra packing depth. On a checked bag the practical limits are the 158 cm linear size rule and your airline's weight allowance rather than a sizer, so expand freely on the way home, but keep an eye on the scale.

Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric.
