If you’re travelling with Easy Jet on an upcoming flight, it is important to know the airline´s baggage allowance and fees. Here is an overview of what you need to know.
Hand Luggage Allowance
All passengers are allowed to bring one piece of hand luggage as a carry-on that will travel with them in the cabin. The hand luggage must be within the dimensions of 45cm x 36cm x 20cm including handles and wheels and must fit under the seat in front.
Passengers who have booked Up Front or Extra Legroom seats can bring an additional large cabin bag of 56cm x 45cm x 25cm that must fit in the overhead locker.
EasyJet Excess Baggage
If your handbag exceeds the 23kg weight limit, you can pay to increase your allowance up to the maximum of 32kg. The most cost-effective way to pay for excess baggage is to do so online, at a rate of £4 per kg, in 3kg increments. If you pay for excess baggage at the airport, the rate increases to £12 per kg, also in 3kg increments. Be sure to check your baggage before your flight to avoid any additional fees.
