"Fortune was on my side that I received this bag just before departing on a 2 week trip to Greece from the US. I repacked my intended carry on, a similarly sized bag, into the Altitude All-Purpose backpack and found that I still had room. This bag is cavernous unexpanded and yet again bigger when you open it up. BUT, it still fits comfortably under a regional commuter jet seat. I loved all of the thoughtful pockets for easy access from the outside, and the clothes compartments inside. I took my tablet and it fit easily in the computer slot. I look forward to bringing this bag on a work trip because it will easily take the 15" Dell laptop from work. One suggestion I have is that the bag needs a built in lock option for the computer compartment. The zippers easily took a TSA-approved padlock so I was able to make due, but I think that would be a nice touch. I used the bag in transit to Greece to carry an extra set of clothes for my first day on the off-chance I was separated from my suitcase on the way there, and also enroute coming home. This worked great, and I had generous room for other personal items, electronics, a jacket, etc, to make the first day there a success. After this trip, I consider this bag essential gear. Definitely recommend you consider consider getting this great bag!"
"This is obviously a high-quality backpack - zippers are sturdy, material feels robust, and a lot of thought went into little details. This bag is larger than my last one, but it doesn't get big and cumbersome to travel with, which is generally my concern when choosing a backpack. The option to leave it at 24L keeps it somewhat slim, and being able to unzip to add the extra space is nice. It's fairly easy to pack, except one minor issue - there is a fabric pocket in the main compartment that sticks out a bit and when I slide my notebook in it gets stuck on this pocket, so I have to reach in and free it before I can push the notebook all the way to the bottom. I prefer to keep my notebooks or books closest to my back, so this is a little frustrating, and probably the only con about the bag. There are ample pockets for storage, one that blocks RFID, the padding on the shoulders is great, and the hidden compartments are a nice touch. It is a little heavier than a typical backpack, but that comes with quality, and it's not like this thing will be used for a backpacking trip. It works great for travel or an every day bag if you carry around notebooks, laptops, business cards, etc. on a regular basis. Overall, it's a great backpack and it's the quality bag you'd expect from TravelPro."
