"This exact dimension suitcase is very difficult to find in the US. This is nearly one of the only options. Even suitcases that boast the same dimensions do not actually fit in Icelandair's metal box. This one does perfectly (do not expand). While the dimensions are useless for many domestic airlines because it is actually too wide, this suitcase is your European travel best bet. I was thrilled to see it back in stock after being out of stock for months so I could buy a second one for my mom. I wish the colors were more fun but that isn't the point."

Happy with my case

"I am really happy with this case. It is perfect for my needs. I like that the internal space has zipped covers preventing items falling out when opening. They have some give so can be stretched over packed items. The wheels work very well and it is very smooth to wheel about. A couple of cons for me (small ones!). I would have likes more zipped pockets inside, on both sides of the case, maybe 2 on one side and a larger one on the other for an ipad for example. The handle "mechanism" protudes into the case space inside which means that packing cubes cannot lie flat and makes it a little awkward to pack some items around them. However, over all I'm very happy with the case."

Sturdy, light, functional, stylish

"In very happy with this carryon. I already own a few others that are each different--one hard shell and a few fabric ones in different sizes. This one will be my go-to. The size is slightly different than the other hard shell I have. This one is a little more square vs rectangular and maybe an inch or so shorter. The telescoping handle is very easy to open and close, has a soft and textured grip and adjustable height. The shell is rugged but stylish. The outer zippers are easy to use, and lock into a built-in TSA-approved combination lock on the side of the suitcase. There's an expansion gusset that zips open to make this suitcase deeper if needed. The wheels roll like a dream. The top of the suitcase is level and big enough to support my overstuffed tote bag and keep it from slipping off. I like that this bag doesn't tip forward and fall over all the time like my fabric roll aboard does when I set my tote on top of it while I'm in the airport. I've stowed this in the overhead compartment of a JetBlue Airbus A321 and it fit well with the top handles facing out to the aisle. There are two inner compartments, one on each side which is fully zipped. One of these has a small outer zipper pocket as well. These compartments do a good job keeping clothes and belongings neat and secure. The inner compartments are simple which keeps the suitcase very light. No issues at all with weight. TravelPro managed to make it a lighter weight without sacrificing any quality. One potential downside is not a flaw, just a design choice common in this type of hard shell bag--if an outside pocket is important to you for a computer or tablet or water bottle you'll need to use a separate shoulder bag or backpack or tote for that. You'll have to lay this flat on the floor and open it all the way up to get something out of it. I carry a tote bag also so this hasn't been an issue for me personally but just mentioning as it's good to plan for it. I received this product in exchange for my honest review."

Sturdy, lightweight and roomy

"Sturdy, lightweight and roomy. I am on a trip to Eastern Europe, and this suitcase is the best! I’ve packed clothes for a 14 day trip, and they all fit. I used the suitcase as carry-on luggage, and the only concern is that I couldn’t stow it on its short side on the overhead bin (Boeing 777). I had to lay in flat in the bin. Otherwise, I’m very pleased with this suitcase."
