Best for: Crew-tested two-wheel loyalists, and cabin packers who like a taller allowance.
We publish both numbers. The case dimensions, the packing body only, are 53 x 35 x 23 cm. The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 58 x 37 x 24 cm. When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.

It sits above some carriers' published cabin limits, so check your airline's current allowance before you fly. Airlines measure the overall size, wheels and handles included, and policies change, so always check your carrier before travel. Our airline guide covers more carriers. And if it does not work out, you can return it free within 14 days of receipt.
Yes. The zippered expansion adds extra packing depth, and a fully expanded bag may not fit a strict airline sizer. If your airline enforces its sizer, board with the bag unexpanded and save the expansion for the trip home or checked segments.
Yes. The exterior fabric has a DuraGuard® coating that resists water and stains, so it holds up to rainy pavements and daily wear.

Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric.

"I love my Travelpro. I used to travel a lot for work and have had Travelpro luggage for over 25. On my last Alaska excusion the baggage handlers broke off one. of the two wheels. I tried another brand of luggage and it was so cheaply made I immediately returned it and ordered. Travelpro. I'm very happy with my new luggage."
"Able to use for the first time last week and was very pleased with the overall suitcase. However, I was very disappointed with the tie down straps. We intentionally left room in our carry-on on the way out. The strap to tighten the clip is below the height of the half-filled items preventing us from tightening the articles."
"I researched for the perfect replacement bag for months. This Travelpro (our families third) is fantastic! It's super lightweight, has plenty of interior room and plenty of outside zipped pockets. The two wheels make traveling in Europe (cobblestones are a spinners nightmare) a breeze. It's also got great styling. Love this bag!"
"I like the design of this carry-on, which is simple but has all the features I need to carry my clothes and toiletries efficiently. I had a very similar one by Travelpro and simply bought a replacement because I am so happy with it."
"The new Crew Classic design is now 14" wide verses 15" wide (see pix) 4 years ago. I travel overseas carry-on no matter how long the trip. This design adjustment affects me as it is 7% less packing space, and I can't fit my 14W shoes into it widthwise as with the old carry on. This adversely affects my packing strategy."
"I have a slightly larger TravelPro bag that I have enjoyed. This true carry on size is going to be great. I used it for an overnight road trip this week. The bag is lighter, but will hold my folding hanging bag from my larger TravelPro bag. Still getting organized for an airplane trip, but I am certain the bag will be great!"
"Very high-quality suitcase. The wheels roll nicely and it fits a lot more than the compact size roller. I have other matching pieces in this set and I’m happy with all of them. This is a perfect size for weekend getaways"
"I’m a flight attendant. This bag is perfect for work. It’s lightweight and still fits everything you need. Also it fits in all of the overhead bins."
"Replaced my 20 year old looking shabby rollaboard. Love this suitcase."
"Really impressed with this rollaboard having used spinners for my last few cases. Ideal cabin size, very stable, and the build quality feels solid - especially the zips and handle. The inside is well designed making the most of space and a makes packing simple. Highly recommended."
