Do the listed dimensions include wheels and handles?

We publish both numbers. The case dimensions, the packing body only, are 63 x 43 x 27 cm. The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 69 x 46 x 28 cm. When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.

Will I owe oversize fees on this bag?

Airlines add height, width and depth together for checked bag limits. This bag measures 133 cm total by case dimensions and 143 cm including wheels and handles. The standard checked bag limit on most airlines is 158 cm. This bag sits within that limit. More detail in our luggage size guide.

How much can I pack before hitting airline weight limits?

Most airlines cap standard checked bags at 23 kg. This bag weighs 4.45 kg empty, which leaves about 18.6 kg of packing before standard overweight fees. At 97 litres it is possible to out-pack the weight limit before you run out of space, so a luggage scale is a good companion for long trips. Allowances vary by airline and fare, see our luggage size guide.

Does the expansion matter on a checked bag?

The zippered expansion adds extra packing depth. On a checked bag the practical limits are the 158 cm linear size rule and your airline's weight allowance rather than a sizer, so expand freely on the way home, but keep an eye on the scale.

How do I set the TSA lock combination?

The lock ships set to 0-0-0. To set your own code: turn the dials to 0-0-0, remove the zipper pullers from the lock, press the reset button on the side of the lock with a pen until it clicks, choose your combination, then press or slide the release button. Write the code down somewhere safe. If you get stuck, our customer service team can help.

How do I make a warranty claim or get repairs?

Start a claim through our customer contact form with photos of the issue and your proof of purchase, or make sure your product is registered in our database. If the issue is covered, Travelpro will repair the bag, replace the defective part, or replace the bag with a product of comparable value. You can also verify the coverage for your collection on our Warranty & Repair page.

How do I clean and care for it?

Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric.

What warranty does this come with?

This product is covered by the Travelpro® 5 Year Warranty, which covers defects in materials and workmanship, on top of your 2-year legal guarantee of conformity under EU law, plus a 14-day free returns period if you change your mind.

I bought this for my

"I bought this for my husband. He travels frequently and goes through a lot of luggage. The zipper on his previous midsize luggage broke after he had the luggage for only a few trips. The warranty did not cover the repair so thought we would try a different brand. He really likes everything about this piece of luggage but especially how easily the wheels roll, much better than the old one. I know he will really enjoy the packing cubes included because I love mine. The real test is about to occur, he has extensive travel in the US, Canada, and Europe within the next 3 weeks."

"Used this suitcase for the first time on a recent trip and I’m very happy with it, although one of the tabs by the handle unstitched."

This suitcase exceeded my expectations.

"This suitcase exceeded my expectations. I’ve been using travelpro suitcases for years and this new one is even an upgrade to the older ones. The larger new wheels really worked great with the usual quality and lightweight strength I’ve come to expect from travelpro"

I’m on my first trip

"I’m on my first trip with my new versapack medium suitcase, and I absolutely love it. It handles very smoothly thanks to the 360 wheels. I don’t have to fight with the handle at all for the height I need. I love all of the organization pockets and the fact that it came with high quality packing cubes and a laundry bag! The clips inside that hold your luggage together are very simple to adjust and succeed at keeping everything in place. The green is a beautiful, unique color that’s easy to spot at baggage claim. I appreciate the TSA lock, as my other luggage doesn’t have this. It also has a luggage tag on the back of the suitcase in case it gets lost. Overall, the suitcase is very high quality and so far worth every penny. I’d definitely buy from TravelPro again (this was my first purchase from them). Highly recommend!"

I thought this product was

"I thought this product was made very poorly. I thought the materials used were cheap. Though it looked nice, it fell way short of my expectations, which is why I returned it. What made matters worse was the absolutely terrible customer service I received when attempting to exchange or return the items. I will never purchase an item from TravelPro in the future."

— David L. (5/5)

A bit disappointed in this

"A bit disappointed in this Versapack. Know that it does not come with the foldup dress clothes organizer for the netted top/flap as before. Very disappointing. Also, the top corner buckled on the first trip, so there's that."
