Do the listed dimensions include wheels and handles?

We publish both numbers. The case dimensions, the packing body only, are 35 x 41 x 22 cm. The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 39 x 41 x 22 cm. When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.

Can I take this on the plane?

Its overall size including wheels and handle is 39 x 41 x 22 cm, which fits cabin bag or underseat allowances on most major European airlines depending on the carrier. Compare against your airline in our airline guide.

How much does it hold?

The listed capacity is 32 litres at 2.45 kg empty.

Is it water resistant?

Yes. The exterior fabric has a DuraGuard® coating that resists water and stains, so it holds up to rainy pavements and daily wear.

How do I make a warranty claim or get repairs?

Start a claim through our customer contact form with photos of the issue and your proof of purchase, or make sure your product is registered in our database. If the issue is covered, Travelpro will repair the bag, replace the defective part, or replace the bag with a product of comparable value. You can also verify the coverage for your collection on our Warranty & Repair page.

How do I clean and care for it?

Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric.

What warranty does this come with?

This product is covered by the Travelpro® 5 Year Warranty, which covers defects in materials and workmanship, on top of your 2-year legal guarantee of conformity under EU law, plus a 14-day free returns period if you change your mind.

Reviews

Incredibly well made. Flew with

"Incredibly well made. Flew with a long gown, a second dress, 1 skirt and several blouses. Everything was in great condition after 2 flights. The wheels glide easily and the handle is very comfortable to hold. The bag is very wide - wish it was 6” narrower. Just a bit wide to navigate around people while walking through the airport. I flew on very small planes where every carry on had to be gate checked so I don’t have any idea if it really is ‘carry on’. It’s quite big so I’d be surprised. But excellent quality and well built. It’s not overly heavy when full."

Carry-on rolling garment bag

"Really pleased with the quality as well as the utility of this piece of luggage. The quality and appearance is excellent. I have the full size version and this carryon model is built similarly. It can easily accommodate a combination of suits and casual clothing for three or four days. I have the matching tote & it pairs well with this carryon garment bag. Great purchase."

Garment Bag for business travel

"The garment bag was large enough to hold my husband's business suits and shoes - without having to cram them in. Built sturdy. So far so good. We will wait and see how it holds up after several business trips. For now - great product."

— lori b. (5/5)

Husband on the GO

"I bought this for my husband who travels regularly. He has been toting his suits in a plastic sleeve along with a backpack. His other option was a large check-sized suitcase. This bag is perfect! He is able to carry 2 suits and some extras without any bulk. He frequently takes 2-night trips, so this bag is perfect."

Maxlite® 5 Carry-On Rolling Garment Bag

"Although it fits in an overhead bin, it is too wide to pull or push through the aisles. It must be carried and is too awkward and heavy for me to do so. I will be passing it on to someone else."
