Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric.

The Travelpro warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship but does not cover wear or damage caused by abuse, mishandling, accidental damage, inappropriate selection, or carelessness caused by an airline or other common carrier.
In the course of normal handling, your luggage may suffer abrasions, minor cuts, scratches, dents or soil. Certain component parts such as wheels, bumper feet, leather, etc., will show wear. This wear is not covered under the warranty.

"Great bag, but the backside where you drag it up a set of stairs is already wearing off. Stair guards aren’t tall enough so the fabric drags on the concrete. Good thing there’s a warrantee. Also, no small pocket for quick items available. All pockets are super deep and you have to stick your whole arm in it to fish out your phone or id or a dollar bill."
