The ultimate carry on bag for International cabin crew
"I needed a bag that could hold more stuff so I did not have to check a bag, as sometimes you can wait an hour for your bags to arrive. My previous carry on bag was a 4-wheeler hard case with a neoprene laptop sleeve on the front. As it opens up clam shell-style, it doesn't seem to hold as much stuff as this more boxy-style does. The internal organiser on my previous bag actually broke whilst compressing. I don't see this happening with my new TravelPro bag. The previous bag acquired a huge crack in it, even though in their advertising you can through it from the second floor balcony and it magically bounces back. I was not so lucky. The TravelPro is a soft case, so it won't crack. The four-wheel bag I had looked glamorous whilst strolling through the airport, however once you hit carpet, it became difficult to roll, especially when fully loaded. The 2-wheels are large on the TravelPro Crew Classic without compromising internal capacity. I have noticed less pain in my wrist. In terms of internal organisation, there are 2 outer pockets to store items you may need frequently. The upper pocket does become difficult to access if the bag is fully loaded, so best used for smaller items like keys. There is a design function that helps keep your case bottom-heavy so that it is less likely to topple over, which works well. Obviously if you pay more, you get more. The top models have USB charging, better internal organisation, etc. but for what I need, I was happy to compromise some creature comforts. I have recommended this bag to all my crew friends, and I show them how much I can fit in it. Typically I can pack enough clothes and a projector to watch TV for up to 4 days at this stage. This includes; 1 uniform set (pants, shirt, tie, serving jacket) 1 pair of trainers 1 pair of casual shoes Gym clothes for 4 days Casual clothes for 4 days Sweater and down jacket 6 pairs of underwear and socks Projector and assorted cables Travel body scales Hair styling tools Electric razor Hat Combined with my crew personal bag, I have enough stuff!"
