Do the listed dimensions include wheels and handles?

We publish both numbers. The case dimensions, the packing body only, are 46 x 36 x 23 cm. The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 48 x 37 x 25 cm. When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.

Will this bag fit my airline's cabin size limits?

Does expanding the bag change whether it fits airline sizers?

Yes. The zippered expansion adds extra packing depth, and a fully expanded bag may not fit a strict airline sizer. If your airline enforces its sizer, board with the bag unexpanded and save the expansion for the trip home or checked segments.

Is it water resistant?

Yes. The exterior fabric has a DuraGuard® coating that resists water and stains, so it holds up to rainy pavements and daily wear.

How do I make a warranty claim or get repairs?

Start a claim through our customer contact form with photos of the issue and your proof of purchase, or make sure your product is registered in our database. If the issue is covered, Travelpro will repair the bag, replace the defective part, or replace the bag with a product of comparable value. How do I clean and care for it?

Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric.

This shorter version of our flagship expandable Rollaboard® is perfect for quick getaways or lighter packing and is guaranteed to fit in the overhead bin on any domestic carrier. The Travelpro® FlightCrew™ 5 18” Expandable Rollaboard® combines the most requested features from pilots and crew with commercial-grade durability that stands up to the rigours of professional use. A zippered expansion option adds up to 5 cm (2”) of additional packing capacity when needed.

Stay organised with two exterior front pockets, padded laptop and tablet sleeves, and a reinforced gusseted back pocket for quick access to essentials. Inside, the main compartment features a mesh pocket and garment pocket in the lid, one top and two side mesh pockets, and elastic hold-down straps to keep items secure and in place.

Constructed from ultra-resilient 1682D ballistic nylon fabric coated with water-, stain- and abrasion-resistant DuraGuard®, this 18” Rollaboard® is built for lasting performance. It includes heavy-duty #10 zippers, sealed ball-bearing inline skate wheels, superior screw construction, crash-guard wheel housings, corner guards, side feet, rubber skid guards and innovative “anti-crush” technology to protect the extension handle tubes from denting.

The rugged extension handle system features stops at 94 cm (37”) and 100.3 cm (39.5”) for comfortable handling at different heights, while a recessed push button reduces accidental activation. An add-a-bag strap with aluminium J-hook (included) provides extra carrying flexibility for totes and coolers. Backed by our Travelpro® 3-Year Commercial Use Warranty.

The Travelpro warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship but does not cover wear or damage caused by abuse, mishandling, accidental damage, inappropriate selection, or carelessness caused by an airline or other common carrier.

In the course of normal handling, your luggage may suffer abrasions, minor cuts, scratches, dents or soil. Certain component parts such as wheels, bumper feet, leather, etc., will show wear. This wear is not covered under the warranty.
