Yes. The zippered expansion adds extra packing depth, and a fully expanded bag may not fit a strict airline sizer. If your airline enforces its sizer, board with the bag unexpanded and save the expansion for the trip home or checked segments.

Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric.

The Travelpro warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship but does not cover wear or damage caused by abuse, mishandling, accidental damage, inappropriate selection, or carelessness caused by an airline or other common carrier.
In the course of normal handling, your luggage may suffer abrasions, minor cuts, scratches, dents or soil. Certain component parts such as wheels, bumper feet, leather, etc., will show wear. This wear is not covered under the warranty.

"Very pleased with my new Crew 5 expandable. I bought my first Travelpro case in 2002, which performed strongly for five years until lost by a hotel. I've had another Crew 7 bag in regular use since 2009 which is now being replaced due to one of the handles coming off. I've had other brands such as Samsonite, and they're simply not as durable as Travelpro. I suspect this new bag will probably perform well for more than a decade, which brings in an environmental factor. More durable bags mean less landfill."
