Slick but bulky in use
"Sling was slick and durable. However, my was lacking in two areas: (1) The Strap system was bulky, in that as one would fold the arms to set down, the arms would not, hence footprint was always bulky. (2) Sling bag was built with quality. However, inside there was a few extra unnecessary compartments/dividers that made the unit bulky. Even with just a few items added, unit became bulky which caused an uneven contact on the body."

Needs to commit
"I'm a huge sling fan and managed to get the Travelpro Sling 2L. This must've been my 5th sling (I own Bellroy, Lulu Lemon, Grams28, and Asian brands) and I wanted to try it out since it was on sale. The overall sling has a quality build with thoughtful pockets and compartments. I'm already a huge Altitude fan and own the briefcase, backpack, and duffel which I love. My main issue is that it needs to choose an identity between being a sling or fanny pack. I usually wear slings on my chest but due to the design, the Travelpro sling will never sit comfortably on my chest. It is top heavy and doesn't lay flat. The design flaw is where the straps attach. They attach to the middle of the sling, which means that even if I lengthen the strap it will always sit too vertically with diffulty digging into the pockets. The straps should connect to the upper corners (not the middle!) to sit more horizontally. The reason it seems to be connected in the middle is due to having the option to be a fanny pack. But this doesn't work either, since the straps are hard to tighten on the fly (like backpack straps) if used that way. I planned to return it, but may just keep it for now. But I would recommend updating the next version as a dedicated sling with updated upper corner attachments. Either that, or make a detachable strap that can attach to either the upper corners or middle anchoring points."

"I never received it. I am traveling now in Europe and could have used it. I received my credit card statement and saw it billed but did not have time to call you before I left. Please check into this matter."

Strap is too short
"The strap was too small for me to where it comfortably across my chest, I would want it to rest on my hip not on my chest. Otherwise it was a great bag, I wish Travepro sold a strap extender"

Sling was added bonus
"Currently I’m using the Travelpro Altitude Sling 2L as a complement to the Travelpro carryon. I probably will use the sling without the carryon and even when I do not travel. I like its compartments."

Works great for the right person!
"I was very excited to receive the Traveler Altitude Sling 2L. I travel quiet a bit and thought having a smaller bag to wear as a crossbody bag would be terrific, and it arrived just ahead of a month-long trip to Europe. What I found, for me - about 5'6" and a smaller build, was that the sling was not the greatest fit. It's a bit bulky for my build to wear as a crossbody bag and the angle of the strap attachments didn't allow for the sling to lie comfortably against my torso. I'm not a fan of the "around the waist" style for a travel bag, but even when I tried this, the straps could not be adjusted short enough to stay at my waistline. I was disappointed because I had high hopes for this sling. I love the quality of Travelpro luggage and own multiple pieces. This item, however, just didn't work for me. The upside of this story is that I gave the sling to a dear friend in Spain -- a man, about 5'9" with a bigger frame than mine -- and he LOVES it! He was so appreciative of the gift and wore it for the remainder of the time I spent with him and his family! He loves the size (for going to the gym, traveling, etc. -- frankly, for trips away from home of any sort), that he can wear it across his chest or around his waist, and the quality of the bag itself (zippers, material, etc. ). So, a win in the end!"

High Quality Sling with Good Organizational Options
"*I received this sling free of charge through a TravelPro Test Pilot Program* This sling has been a great addition to my travel luggage gear. I like that it matches my carry-on, personal item, and checked bag set. I've never been much of a sling or fanny-pack guy. Still, I've found it to be useful in airports for organizing all the items you may need to quickly access while still going through security easily. When traveling, I particularly appreciate the RFID pocket that can fit my passport and credit cards. I've grown to actually like using the bag daily as a "bag in a bag," where I move it and its standard layout between different large bags depending on the activity (work, gym, basketball, or pickleball). I already have a designated "loadout," and I appreciate how the pack keeps everything where I expect it to be. In the front pocket, I put my keys. In the second pocket, I put my money clip, chapstick, and AirPods. In the third pocket, I put my phone. There is still plenty of room for more objects as well. With this level of packing, the profile is sleek, not bulging, making the bag aesthetically pleasing when worn. There aren't many negatives about the bag, but there are a few changes that would have made the product even better for me. I would say the bag functions much better as a fanny pack than a sling due to the way it sits on your body. As a fanny pack, it sits flush, while as a sling, it slightly props up. Personally, I don't see myself using the bag as a sling, which I would honestly prefer over a fanny pack. The bag also has a high price point. Still, it is made of high-quality materials, making it a fair price, albeit one that may not be comfortable for everyone. Something that may be particular to me is being bothered by the amount of noise it makes while you walk. Personally, I prefer all my bags to have "silent zips" and have replaced many different bag zippers. Most people won't notice or mind, but for me, it's a distraction. Overall, I have immensely enjoyed the bag, as there are days when I go to the gym, work, and play a sport, and having a small bag to carry my primary items between them has been very useful. I also really appreciate the quality of the bag. I do wish the bag functioned better as a sling on my body, but it makes a fine fanny pack. If you are comfortable with its premium price point and are in the market for a high-quality fanny back, I would definitely recommend it. Pros - Sleek look that matches other TravelPro products - Good organizational layout - Passport fitting RFID pocket - Fits large phones (Such as iPhone 15 Pro Max) - Works well as a sling Cons - High Price Point - Zippers make noise while you walk when they hit each other - I do wish the front zipper pocket was slightly bigger to fit larger phones (it only fits an iPhone 15) - If used as a sling, the bag sits at a slight angle off the chest that isn't as ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing"
